Ewing Independence Day Celebration. A great way to start off your Fourth of July weekend, come to Armstrong Park and enjoy a spectacular firework display and more. Jazz Guitarist Dick Gratton at Chambers Walk Café. This laid back jazz guitarist brings his unique style to the Chambers Walk Café. As a staple on the Central New Jersey music scene, Gratton brings an inspired mixture of colorful arrangements with recognizable melodies. Trenton Thunder plays New Britain Rockcats. Waterfront Park is the perfect spot to end your Independence Day. The Thunder will be playing with specially made American Flag jerseys, followed by an auction for the jerseys. No Name California Dance. Who doesn’t like to dance? If the fireworks get too much for you, come out to a night of eclectic dances thanks to Central Jersey Dance Society. Star-Crossed Lovers “Romeo and Juliet” presented at Kelsey Theatre. The Kelsey Theatre Summer Series begins with the classic Shakespeare tragedy “Romeo and Juliet.” Presented by Shakespeare ’70, Mercer County’s classic repertory company, the Kelsey stage will be ignited with this famous story of the two star-crossed lovers caught between their feuding families.
